We don't have to wait for a kinder, fairer world – start living it today
World Without Billionaires is a weekly newsletter to catalogue the radical and practical tools and ideas that can help us untangle our lives from late-stage capitalism and the billionaires who thrive in it.
Meet the newsletter-er
I’m J Savage, a chronically ill and neurodivergent writer and UX designer trying to live meaningfully in a world built for profit, not people.
I’m not an economist or an extremist – I’m just autistic and have learned how to thrive in the margins. I want to help others do the same.
I'm done waiting for those in power to do the right thing. We have the power to show them (and each other) that rest isn't laziness, empathy isn't a weakness and mutual care is possible.
What this newsletter is
It's a weekly reminder that we’re not crazy for struggling under a system built to break us, and that we’re allowed to imagine something gentler.
Every Tuesday I share:
Small acts of care and defiance
Field notes on living more intentionally
Why we're fighting and how we keep going
Resources, tools and curiosities
No hustle culture or billionaire bootlicking. Just inspiration, strategies and stubborn hope.
Capitalists won't save us – we save us.
Let's grow something real in the cracks of capitalism.
Free vs paid subscription
I intend to never put useful content behind a paywall. I don't believe access should be limited to those who can pay. Paid subscriptions are welcome as a form of support but are not an obligation.
If I ever introduce paid-only content, it’ll likely be for posts that are more personal, not the kind of information I believe should belong to all of us.
If you’re a free subscriber and want to support in other ways, sharing the newsletter or commenting on a post now and then means a lot. I’m glad you’re here.
